Interested in camping seasonally? Seasonal campers have the luxury of parking their camper and leaving it on the same site all season! Seasonal Rates include water, sewer and Wi-Fi & electric is metered and billed monthly. We do offer convenient interest free winter payment plans to meet your family’s budget! Please note, that the camping unit should be an RV (travel trailer, pop up, Motorhome or 5th wheel) and 15years old or newer. Anything older than 15 years will need to be approved by management. We do not accept Park Models. We require that you camp here a few times to see what we’re all about before we will place you on the list. It helps you get to know us and we get to know you. We will not place anyone on a seasonal site who has never stayed at the park. Seasonal fees are due in advance, and are non-refundable.
Key Resort Information
- The standard CHECK OUT time for all campers is 11 am. In the event that at camper fails to leave the site by the designated checkout time, the camper will be notified by Moose Creek RV Resort Staff. Should the camper fail to comply, a tow notice will be issued by 12 pm the day on the scheduled day of departure, with a licensed towing service called to remove the camping unit. All costs the sole responsibility of the camper.
- The standard CHECK IN time is 2 pm. Guests who wish to check in before the standard check in time of 2 pm will be subject to an early arrival fee of $10 per hour.
- All camping units must be less than 15 years old and must be in good physical condition. Any camping units over 15 years old must be approved by management by calling our main office at 207.695.2425 or emailing at info@moosecreekrvresort.com. An exterior picture of your equipment may be requested. Camping units that are not in good physical condition, buses or homemade camping units are not permitted. Thank you for understanding.
- Personal Golf carts are allowed wiht a one time seasonal reservation fee of $50. This covers multiple stays with us throughout the season!
- The SPEED LIMIT throughout the ENTIRE resort is five (5) mph!
- Children under 18 are to return to their campsite by 10:00 pm.
- QUIET TIME: 11:00 pm to 8:00 am.
- NO TENTS OR TENT TRAILERS ARE ALLOWED TO SET UP AFTER 9:00 PM without prior approval.
- Only one (1) camping unit per site. Camping unit being a tent, travel trailer, motor home, truck camper, fifth wheel, pop-up or van.
- Our camping rate is based on 4 people, additional guest fees may be applicable.
- A maximum of six (6) people are allowed daily per site, including the overnight registered guests and their visitors.
- Special requests should be emailed to info@moosecreekrvresort.com. If you are currently staying with us or having a reservation, please notify the Main Office that you are sending a special request and we will get back to you with an answer as soon as possible.
- All fires out by 11:00 pm (fires are never to be left unattended!)
- Wristbands are included with all overnight camping rates and paid daily admission fees. Children of registered campers and their guests that are under the age of 4 are FREE. All children older than 18 are considered an adult and extra persons fees will apply.
- Out of state firewood (Maine State Law) & pallet wood is prohibited on all sites.
- Guests are not allowed to wash camping units or any other vehicles at their site. $50 fine for those who are caught.
- No generators.
- All outdoor games are prohibited after 9:00pm.
- Please keep your site clean and leave it as you found it. All trash MUST be put in dumpsters as indicated on the site map. Recyclable beverage containers can be left at labeled receptacles throughout the resort as well as by the dumpster station. We ask that garbage or food not be left in our fire pits. A $25 clean up fee will be charged if the site is left unkept (pictures emailed).
- Walking and biking through others campsites is prohibited. Please only use roadways and paths.
- We offer High-Speed Wireless Internet throughout the Resort. Given the nature of this technology, some sites may have better service than others. Please see the office for additional options.
- Please respect the privacy of our neighbors. You are welcome to enjoy the grounds within our property, but do not go beyond marked boundary points. If you do so, you will be asked to leave.
- Pets are allowed at the resort in most cases, see pet section below.
- Fireworks are prohibited on Resort Property.
- Firearms, bow and arrows are to be kept in a secure location and are not to be discharged on resort property.
- Smoking is not permitted in any Resort building or common area.
- Moving from site to site is prohibited unless prior arrangements with Management have been made. Please respect the privacy of your neighbor and abutting landowners.
- Rates for the 2024 season start at $70 per night plus 9% Maine lodging tax. Please click the “book now” link to see applicable rates for your chosen dates of stay and requested site type, or call 207.695.2425 and our friendly office staff can assist you.
- You must be 21 years of age or older to register for a site at Moose Creek RV Resort.
- Check-in time is 2:00 pm, check-out time is 11:00 am for overnight sites. Checkout meaning exiting the site and leaving the campground.
- We reserve the right to deny campsites to persons under the age of 21 in order to maintain the atmosphere of the resort.
- All vehicles must display a valid car pass at all times in the resort.
- Our site policy and base camping rates are based on 4 people. A maximum of 6 persons allowed overnight at one site. Extra-person fees apply.
- 9% Maine State Lodging Tax will be applied to all stays.
- As of July 17th, 2024, we are updating our policy regarding group reservations to improve your booking experience. Please take note of the following procedures:*Group Leader Responsibility: The group leader is responsible for coordinating the reservation process. They can call our office to reserve multiple sites and assign specific sites at the time of booking.*Individual Information Submission: Each group member must provide their contact and camper information to our office. This can be done by calling us directly or filling out a provided fillable document.*Accurate Camper Size: It is crucial that the group leader ensures the accuracy of the camper size for each site booked. This helps us accommodate your group appropriately.*Full Deposit Requirement: To confirm the reservation for multiple sites, a full deposit is required at the time of booking.*We are no longer waiving the lock site fee for group reservations.These updates are aimed at ensuring a seamless booking process and a pleasant stay for all our guests. Thank you for your cooperation in adhering to these guidelines.
- Advanced reservations are suggested for the summer season and holidays. Payment in full is required at the time of reservation for year of dates. A 50% deposit is required for year in advance reservations, with full payment required two weeks prior to arrival. Cancellations 14 days or more prior to arrival will receive a full refund less a $25.00 booking fee, Cancellations made 13 days or less from arrival date will not be eligible for any refund. There is a 3 night minimum during holidays and special events. No refunds for the on-line reservation booking fee.
- A $35.00 fee will be assessed for a check returned due to insufficient funds.
- No personal checks are accepted upon arrival.
- Payment in full is required two week prior to arrival.
We do not give credit or refunds due to the discomforts of nature. The fun continues rain or shine. Our cancellation policy varies depending on the timing of your cancellation notice in advance of the reservation date.
- Cancellations 14 days or more prior to arrival will receive a full refund less a $25.00 booking fee.
- Cancellations 13 days or less from arrival will not be eligible for any refund.
- No refunds for the on-line reservation booking fee.
- No refunds for early departures, for any reason.
Change Policy:
- Changes made to decrease occupancy or pets resulting in a credit owed will result in the issuance of a Camp Credit. Camp Credit will remain active on the User Account and will expire one year from issuance.
- Reservation arrival or departure dates may not be changed inside the cancellation window.
Payment Policy:
- Payment is due in full at time of booking for year of reservations. Year in advance reservations require a 50% deposit, with final payment made two weeks prior to arrival.
- We gladly accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express.
- There is a 3 night minimum during holidays and special events.
- Advanced reservations are suggested for the summer season and holidays.
No Show Policy:
- Reservations will be held until check-out time on the day following your scheduled arrival.
- No shows will result in a cancelled reservation and full forfeiture of funds.
The cancellation policy shall be amended in the event a natural disaster (i.e. Blizzard, Wild fires, Flooding) is issued for the camp-resort area or the guest’s residence within 48 hours of the reservation arrival date OR when there is a mandatory evacuation of the area and the Resort will be closed.
- We strive to maintain the pristine condition of our sites. Site condition is documented prior to your arrival and after departure. The registered party is responsible to damage incurred to the property, including but not limited to environmental damage, if applicable.
- It is the registered party’s responsibility to maintain their site, to keep it clean and uncluttered at all times. Guests must leave their site as they found it.
- In case of emergency, Moose Creek RV Resort Management maintains the right to move vehicles or belongings without notice or liability.
- We ask only one vehicle be parked per site. Additional parking is available.
- Campfires are allowed in the designed fire pit only.
- Popups or temporary shade structures are permitted at your site with prior approval. Outdoor shade tents or pop ups are allowed with screen sides, no solid panels are permitted. We ask that the size be limited to 8×8 unless prior approval is granted.
- Guests are responsible for their visitors.
- A maximum of six (6) people are allowed daily per site, including the overnight registered guests and their visitors.
- Liability Waiver: Visitors assume all risks associated with their presence on the resort property and release the resort, its owners, employees, and affiliates from any liability for personal injury, property damage, or loss that may occur during their visit.
- Consent to Terms: By entering the resort property, visitors acknowledge and agree to comply with all terms and conditions outlined herein.
- All visitors must register at the Main office upon arrival, pay a visitor’s fee before entering the campground, and obtain a parking pass. We have the right to limit visitors.
- Visitors must display a tag on their vehicle and wear a wristband.
- Visitors and registered guests will not exceed more than 6 guests per campsite.
- Checkout time for overnight guests is 11 am.
- Visitors are not permitted to bring pets
- Any violation of visitor policies may result in immediate eviction.
- Visitors must park in designated visitor parking areas.
- THERE IS NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY IN THE POOL OR POND AREAS. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
- Only use the pond and pool during posted hours of operation.
- Food is not allowed within the pool area. Drinks are allowed within the pool area.
- Children less than 14 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian (an adult who is responsible for the children and their behavior).
- There is no substitute for adequate supervision.
- IN AN EMERGENCY, NOTIFY THE FACILITY OPERATOR AND CONTACT HELP AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
- The pond is stocked with brook trout for your family to enjoy fishing. All fishing in the pond is catch and release only, with barbless hooks (available in the store).
- On-site fishing- Daylight hours only. No permit is required.
- Pets are welcome at Moose Creek RV Resort, with a maximum of 3 per site.
- All pets must have proof of license of vaccinations.
- Pets may not leave your campsite unless they are being walked by an adult.
- Pets are to be leashed at all times and they are not to be left behind or unattended anywhere on our property.
- We require that you pick up all pet waste. We offer pet waste stations including bags and disposals throughout the resort.
- We offer a dog park to let your dog off its leash.
- Pets are prohibited from: Playgrounds, bathhouse/laundry, pavilion, office, pool areas, and activity area.
- While we realize your pet may love to swim, we ask that your pet remain leashed in the pond area(s).
- Never swim alone.
- THERE IS NO LIFEGUARD ON DUTY IN THE POOL OR POND AREAS. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK.
- Don’t drink alcohol and swim.
- Food is not allowed in the pool patio areas. Drinks are permitted, no glass please.
- Prohibited Items: Personal alcohol, personal drink containers (e.g. Yeti’st, travel mugs), personal coolers. The Pavilion and Pool Patio area are within our designated liquor license area per State of Maine liquor licensing regulations. Please comply with these rules so that we may continue to serve you at The Pavilion and adhere to Maine’s liquor licensing regulations.
- Only use the pool during posted hours of operation.
- Children less than 14 years old must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at all times (an adult who is responsible for the children and their behavior).
- Please follow all posted rules in the pool areas.
- No glass containers are allowed on the pool patio areas.
- There is no substitute for adequate supervision.
- IN AN EMERGENCY, NOTIFY THE FACILITY OPERATOR AND CONTACT HELP AS SOON AS POSSIBLE.
- USE OF ATVs IS PROHIBITED IN THE RESORT.
- MOTORCYCLES/MOPEDS – Registered motorcycles and mopeds are allowed within the resort. Unregistered motorcyles, dirt bikes, mopeds are not permitted within the resort.
- Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (Drones) are prohibited.
- Note: we offer a designated parking area for trailers and ATVs with trail access up the street from the resort. Inquire at the Main Office for more information.
- Absolutely no bike riding after dark.
- Anyone 16 years old or under must wear a bike helmet, it is Maine State Law!
- E-bikes are allowed within the resort property. All speed limits must be strictly obeyed when operating e-bikes or electric scooters within the resort grounds. Children must be kept under control while using e-bikes or electric scooters. If a child is found to be operating these devices recklessly or without proper supervision, they will not be permitted to continue using them.
- FAILURE TO COMPLY WITH BIKE RULES WILL RESULT IN LOSS OF RIDING PRIVILEGES.
